Surrender to the Light

There is a very nice state of bliss that is called “Total Surrender”. It happens when you realize that you don’t need to control your situations or outcomes, and that the Universe can take care of it all while you go along for the ride.

The first step to achieving “Total Surrender” is by acknowledging the fact that you are exactly where you need to be, right here, right now.

The second step is to know that you are doing everything within your power to walk in the direction that you want to go.

The third step is to know exactly who you are.

It sounds simple, and if you work to fulfill these steps, you will receive the light of the Universe, and you will feel the Love that the Universe has for you. It is true bliss and a very powerful experience that is shared by shamans, saints, monks, etc., and nonetheless, one experience that is available to you.

How to know if you are exactly where you need to be? Well, backtrack and start thinking of the decisions you made (or didn’t make) that have brought you here. You accept responsibility for where you live, how you live, the work you do, the people that are around you, everything that forms your reality. If you feel that something is not clicking in your “preferred world”, then look at step number two.

Are you walking the right way? You must be walking because standing around is no good. If you feel that you have led yourself down the wrong path, meaning you are unhappy, then you need to correct your path. Now, be careful with confusing emotions, one thing is being unhappy/angry/depressed, and one thing is being impatient (or tired of waiting and a bit angry).

If you have these two steps in place, then I will give you the last step and I will tell you who you are: You are light. You are a creator. You are love. You are the pride of creation. You are a map of the stars. You are non-physical in a physical body. You are perfection. And you are whole.

Love and appreciation to all.
